Omega Downloader - To add new stock symbols :

  • Run Omega Research Data Downloader

  • Click File -> Securities from program menu

  • You can Add/Edit/Delete/Copy and perform other actions here

Run Quotelf and click Update Status tab or simply minimize the program

Run Dial Data Downloader and click File ->Securities ->Download menu

  • You can use any download option except Recollect bad data

  • Quotelf ignores fundamental data requests

  • Click Download and follow program instructions

  • When Downloader connects to Quotelf you'll see the following dynamic icon in the system status bar

  • During data download Omega Downloader informs you about the details of data receiving and distributing

Notes:

If you use TS Prosuite 2000i and can't locate Omega Downloader, then you need to re-intstall OmegaResearch Prosuite package as Omega Downloader is an optional component and you probably have not chosen to install it during previous installation of ProSuite software. Choose Custom installation during setup and check Install Omega Downloader option. WOW
