Omega Research Tradestation Downloader

• Click DataVendor tab
  
  
• Choose "Dial Data" from a drop-down menu **
  
  
• Set Phone Network to Internet
  
  
• Enter any Password
  
  
• Enter any User ID starting with Z ( example : Z9100 )
  
  
• Click OK

• Open dd_inet.oms file located in C:\Omega\Dataman folder in Notepad Editor
  
  
• If you use ProSuite 2000i product then the first line of this file should read :
  SetHosts("dial,dial2")
  
  
• If you use TS4 or SC4 products then the first line of this file should read :
  SetHosts("dd.tdc.com,dd1.tdc.com")
  
  
• If the first line matches the represented above line (original Omega Research settings), just exit the Notepad Editor. Otherwise, replace it with appropriate for your product line, save the file and close Notepad.

Notes:

* If you use TS Prosuite 2000i and can't locate Omega Downloader, then you need to re-intstall OmegaResearch Prosuite package as Omega Downloader is an optional component and you probably have not chosen to install it during previous installation of ProSuite software. Choose Custom installation during setup and check Install Omega Downloader option.

** Even though you are selecting the Dial/Data tab from the downloader, you are not actually using the Dial/Data service, but you need to use these settings in order to establish the appropriate connection to get the data from Quotelf. WOW
